Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated professional with excellent organisational skills to help support the work of our Wellbeing, Health & Safety (WH&S) and Training and Learning (L&D) Teams. As Technical Support, you will play a key role in engaging with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to help manage the day to day systems and processes that enable NRW to deliver it’s internal services across Wales.

In particular you will be supporting the teams with the certification of NRW gaining ISO 45001 status.  Maintaining records for serious incident reviews and supporting the L&D team with booking training courses and providing additional support to book venues, check attendance and maintain training records.

Provide a targeted technical support to the WH&S and L&D teams including activity such as extraction & retrieval of data, database management, data collation, running reports, developing new reports and amending existing ones, People Management systems maintenance e.g. AssessNET, Peoplesafe.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of working within a people management work environment such T&L, WH&S & HR.
  • Experience of undertaking tasks such as involving data manipulation and analysis and supporting senior staff and leadership teams in providing data manipulation and analysis.
  • Ability in using information technology and HR systems with intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills with MS Excel.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
