General HR Function

I am seeking an HR generalist with project management skills, who can support this brilliant HR team to deliver University wide projects and improvements.

This role will provide variety and challenge; you will work closely with HR colleagues, senior stakeholders and unions, across the breadth of HR led initiatives and changes to process and ways of working. From inception through to final implementation stages, projects could include; policy development, reviewing the appraisal system, developing a reward scheme or benchmarking innovative diversity programmes.

Parts of the role will also involve carrying out your own research and market insight, along with presenting papers and statistics, to ensure informed decisions are made and that the University is in the best position to be an employer of choice.

As a qualified HR Professional, you will use your generalist HR expertise as a solid grounding for project work, in hand with demonstrating exceptional communication and engagement skills, together with the ability to overcome obstacles and remain solution focused. It’s important that you are a true go-getter with a finisher mindset, and acute attention to detail.

There are excellent benefits attached to this role, including generous annual leave and a local government pension scheme. You will also have remote working options for the near future (pending any government changes).
