We are seeking a credible and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our busy HR team. The post-holder will act as a key HR point of contact to a number of departments within the Hall; providing a professional, high quality HR service through championing the effective resourcing, management, and wellbeing of all its people and providing practical and effective support and guidance to management and staff.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of providing generalist HR advice and employee relations guidance within a fast paced, demanding working environment. You will have excellent knowledge of employment legislation, an understanding of HR best practice as well as the ability to foster and develop strong relationships with a variety of colleagues. Another key aspect of the role is the management and development of HR systems, and so previous experience of this is essential.
You will need to be CIPD Level 5 qualified, resilient, personally confident, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to cope effectively with a high level of work activity and changing priorities. Giving the Covid-19 pandemic, this role will initially be home-based, in keeping with government guidelines, so the ability to manage your own workload and work independently is essential. You will also have an enthusiastic, proactive and pragmatic approach to your work and an ability to work with complete discretion and confidentiality.
The role will suit a team player with excellent attention to detail, a flexible and unflappable approach and the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload in order to achieve performance standards and objectives to agreed deadlines. The successful candidate will be confident and comfortable in learning, understanding and developing various HR systems.

The starting salary for the role is £33,000 per annum however given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic; a pay reduction has been applied to roles across the Hall. As such, a pay reduction will be applied to this role however, when the Hall returns to profitability, and is in a position to return salaries to normal then the salary for the role will revert back to £33,000 per annum.
