Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager – Race Equality
My client, a globally recognised Education institution is now urgently seeking an experienced Equality & Diversity specialist with a background and significant knowledge around race equality issues, to join them for a period of 12 months. Please note that this role is currently being delivered remotely due to current Covid guidelines, however may require regular travel to central London offices in due course.
To be considered for this role you will require proven experience of working in a large and complex organisation in the field of equality, diversity and inclusion, with particular focus on race equality. You need to be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the possible approaches and techniques for delivering race equality through recruitment, retention and progression and be able to analyse and interpret large and complex data sets and communicate findings to a variety of audiences and through a range of mediums.
In addition to this, a proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders along with well-developed project management skills and experience of balancing multiple projects are prerequisite.
With an ongoing commitment to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion, this organisation is committed to applying for a Race Equality Charter award, therefore previous experience of similar charter application processes such as Athena SWAN, Stonewall or Investors in People (IIP), resulting in successful award. would be highly desirable.
