Multinational Biotech seeking a senior L&D professional for a temp assignment
Your new role
Duties include management and communication of UK/I total rewards strategy, including developing and implementing wellness and benefits programs, acting as the primary point of contact for new employees, liaising with HRSS internationally, managing the UK/I training curriculum and managing HR communications to the UK/I site. Manage Training and Leadership Development activities for the UK and Ireland sites: Coordinate to identify training and leadership development activities on site, liaise with Global training organisations to implement on site or UK/ Ireland specific training opportunities, work with international teams to coordinate passport trainings for UK/I employees, Maintain the UK training schedule - including advertising, invites, monitoring attendance and liaising with suppliers. Manage communications of HR programs and activities at site, support Employee Liaison team and site communications, Coordinate site community activities, such as charity events, diversity initiatives and related (such as MS week, etc.), Maintain HR e-board notices, responsible for vendor management for external benefits provider, Ensures on-line portal meets needs, Manages program delivery, including wellness and other benefits changes (Ireland pension program, etc.), Identify and implement programmatic changes. Partner with global benefits organisation to ensure alignment with corporate Benefits strategies. Create, manage and deliver site-specific benefits communications, work with HRSS to answer UK benefit queries. Manages activities, communicates with new employees and ensures smooth onboarding experience for employee, Liaise with international HRSS to coordinate contract, employee data and other process steps completed, Coaches new employees on company culture and important company processes such as performance management, Coordinates employee transfers and related activities with Global mobility.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated project management skills and working on cross functional teams. Have benefit and/or training management experience. Substantial recent HR experience, aptitude and interest in related activities. Play a critical role in creating the site and affiliate culture. Confident with negotiations and frequent interactions with external vendors.
