As an HR project manager, your role is to lead, develop and deliver various HR projects. You should design and implement new ways of working across the team and our organisation to ensure they are sustainable and fully embedded. You will support the people team to ensure they deliver, inspire others to embrace new ways of working, and land your projects on time - every time, creating a sense of urgency and challenging the status quo. You must ensure the people team deliver the HR projects that will enable us to achieve the people strategy.

You will take overall responsibility for delivering a range of projects at any one time, looking after the day to day management and activities of the project. Be ready to roll your sleeves up, fully immerse yourself and deliver your projects from inception through to completion. You will be working with the head of people operations to prepare papers and confirm agreement to scope cost, deliverables, reporting activities and timeframes for a project. You will be responsible for managing financial activities throughout the life cycle of projects and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to secure their delivery. You will maintain detailed project plans, be the lead for project team meetings, producing presentations, as needed.

You must act as the lead within the people team on all organisational change programmes and work, acting as a champion of change. You will collaborate within the people team and the wider business to deliver, implement and embed any project or a new way of working, and be working with the senior leaders in the people operations team. You will be someone who can work with senior management teams and key stakeholders, both internally and externally, be able to develop, build and influence a continuous improvement mindset to others.

Your base can be at any of our offices in Wolverhampton (WV10), Tewkesbury (GL20) or South Gloucestershire (BS37).

We want you to be somebody who has:

  • A minimum of 2 years of HR project management experience
  • Degree or equivalent by experience
  • Understanding of project management delivery, ideally Prince2 qualified
  • A continuous improvement methodology
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at any one time
  • Evidence of delivery and sustainable results
  • Practical knowledge of all HR processes and practices
  • Experience in data management analysis and presentation
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Evidence of managing volume, competing priorities and delivery under time pressures
  • A commitment to our DNA and be a great ambassador for Bromford.

Consideration will be given to anyone with experience working in roles such project manager, HR project manager, HR business partner, HR engagement manager, or something similar.
