Head of Business Partnering

We will deliver this vision through activities in our four galleries across the U.K. (Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives, Tate Britain and Tate Modern), our digital platforms and collaborations with our national and international partners.  At the heart of Tate is our national collection of British art spanning 500 years, and of modern and contemporary international art that reaches across all continents.

Reporting to the Director of People, the Head of Business Partnering will support and enable the delivery of Tate’s 5-year strategic plan and lead the HR Business Partnering team. 

This is an opportunity to lead, manage and develop the HR Business Partnering team to ensuring the delivery of a professional and proactive HR service that is valued by colleagues and fully supports the strategic and operational priorities of Tate. Under your leadership, it will be a responsive, pragmatic and high-quality service, partnering with their designated Tate departments.

An inspirational, energetic and talented HR professional, you will bring a genuine interest in people and have the ability to build rapport and gain trust at all levels of the organisation. You will have leadership and/or senior generalist HR experience gained in a large, complex organisation that has undergone significant change in a unionised environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for senior HR professionals ready to take the next step or an established HR leader seeking to cement their experience.
