Head of HR

The Marches Academy Trust is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead on the development of our HR function.  The Trust has experienced recent rapid growth and this new role will see the successful candidate transform our HR agenda as we move into the future.  This is an exciting time for the Trust with further growth planned and the successful candidate can look forward to career development and growth opportunities as the Trust continues its journey.

This is a strategic role and we are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of developing and delivering a HR strategy which aligns with the Trust vision and values and ensures our key functions develop in line with our growth.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and Trust Executive team to develop and drive key initiatives.  You will have significant wide ranging experience as a HR professional backed by relevant qualifications and a track record of high performance standards.  You will bring vision and ambition to the role and develop positive, collaborative relationships with others across the Trust.  Whilst experience within the educational sector is preferred this is not a prerequisite and you will be supported to develop sector specific knowledge if required. 

Regular travel to the other schools within the Trust is required.
