The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is looking for a chartered HR professional to join its newly formed Appointments and Remuneration Committee
The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) champions the power of planning in creating prosperous places and vibrant communities. We represent over 25,000 members worldwide, supporting them throughout their careers. We shape planning policy, raise professional standards and are the only body in the UK to confer Chartered status to planners, the highest professional qualification.
The independent member will be part of a committee of five responsible for monitoring and setting remuneration policy for the institute. The committee’s role is to ensure that the RTPI Board of Trustees discharges its corporate governance and has an effective reward strategy in place which promotes an effective high performing and diverse workforce and supports the delivery of the Corporate Strategy.
The successful candidate will be a chartered member of the CIPD and ideally will have experience in a similar voluntary role and a good understanding of the professional membership body context.
The RTPI Nomination Subcommittee will select the RTPI representative.
