We are looking to recruit a motivated and inspiring Associate Director of Employment; this exciting new post is joining our HR and Organisational Development Senior Leadership Team, leading a customer centric and professional HR service which is aligned to the strategic and operational needs of the Trust.

Leeds and York Partnership is a high performing NHS Foundation Trust providing specialist mental health and learning disability services across Leeds and York as well as providing Regional and National specialist services. As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development in the local region. Employing around 2,600 staff along with a thriving internal temporary staffing bank and over 150 registered volunteers, our vision is to provide outstanding services as an exceptional employer of choice.

Reporting to the Director of HR and Organisational Development, this role will provide leadership to our Business Partnering and Operational HR teams. The role will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to ensure the provision of a quality  HR service which, through effective business partnering, is aligned and responsive to the needs of the services. As an expert in employee relations and with a flexible and pragmatic approach, the role holder will ensure the provision of professional and people centric HR advice. 

With demonstrable experience in a senior HR position and a strong technical knowledge, the successful candidate will be a strong leader and a good listener, someone who truly values collaborative working and engagement. They will also be passionate about positive transformation, working with the team to develop a clear vision and leading positive change.
