A large, public sector organisation based in Leeds requires HR support during a very busy period of change.

Your new role
HR shared services is a fast paced, varied and demanding area of work with a team which puts our customers at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to a high-performance culture, continually establishing and embedding new ways of working to ensure continuous improvement. The temporary HR Assistant job role will require someone with excellent HR, customer service and operational delivery skills. We are looking for the successful candidates to:

* Manage a caseload to onboard new employees.
* Provide HR advice in response to queries from our customers.
* Manage information and data, follow policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality is maintained and information is accessible.
* Work at pace, taking ownership and collaborating with others to solve problems.
* Provide support to a range of wider HR Operations improvement work, working collaboratively and building relationships with colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed
We require someone with recent and significant HR experience, ideally someone who has worked in a large, HR Shared Service team before. We are looking for someone with excellent IT skills, who is a problem solver and who has first class communication skills.

What you'll get in return
This is a full time 6 month temporary contract, currently working from home, but may require travel to the offices in Leeds when lockdown eases. It is a very good hourly rate with very generous holiday pay on top.
