6 month interim opportunity for an L&D Specialist

Your new company
This organisation has continued to grow and become even busier during the current pandemic due to this they are looking to bring on board an experienced L&D Manager to lead a team of 3. The role will initially be a 6 month FTC but could be extended longer after this or could even potentially turn into a permanent role. This company is an excellent organisation to work for, they are always seen as a great place to work and have a great team environment.

Your new role
The main focus of the role will be to provide leadership to the L&D team in order to develop elements of the people strategy which includes managing apprenticeships and volunteers. They will be looking for you to ensure a very comprehensive induction for all new employees, work directly with senior management of each area within the business to understanding their training needs and help deliver the people strategy plan to them. You will also be managing all external training supplier relationships so that there is a good quality service provided. This role will also include building strong relationships with schools and FE establishments to ensure a pipeline of applicants for any in house trainee roles.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this post you will need to be an experienced L&D Manager, who has ideally worked within a public sector company previously, You will have man management experience and have worked in a similar role before. Ideally you will be immediately available and able to start the role quickly.
