A pro-active HR Coordinator / Advisor to join a growing international construction business (Poole).

Your new company

My client have offices based in the UK and abroad where they offer solutions by completing projects that hugely benefit local communities. Their highly-skilled team design, construct, supply equipment and maintain it across different sectors including Healthcare, Housing, Utilities / Energy and Waste Management.

The business are a small SME at their core with ambitious growth plans as they have doubled in size in the past year, after winning a number of lucrative long-term projects.

Your new role

This is a permanent position and a new role to the business as the Group HR Manager is expanding the function. Based in their Poole office, you will report to the Group HR Manager and work closely with a Business Administrator too.

This is a true generalist role that will include HR administration, recruitment, creating / maintaining policy, ER case work, IR35 / employment law and HR projects.

Working Hours: 37.5/week, Monday-Friday (9-5 with 30 minutes lunch). Please not this role is office-based, but with some flexibility on occasional working from home going forward.

What you'll need to succeed

My client are keen to appoint a pro-active, organised person with a positive, 'can-do' attitude who wants to further their knowledge and career in HR. The Hiring Manager would prefer someone with a CIPD Diploma at Level 3 or Level 5, but will consider people qualified by experience if you have worked within a HR function / similar role for 3 years+.

Although the company are primarily a construction / design business and such experience will be an advantage, they are flexible on industry / sector background.
