HR Assistant
Hoddesdon, Broxbourne
Salary: £23,291 - £25,879
Full time – 37 hours - permanent
Closing Date: 4th March
Our client are currently the largest provider of social housing in the Broxbourne area, owning and managing almost 5000 properties in Hertfordshire and Essex. Their aim is to provide safe and secure homes for their customers and strengthen their local community whilst delivering excellent customer service.
Our client are looking for a HR Assistant to provide a customer focused HR service for a range of stakeholders ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
Responsibilities will include:
To be the first point of contact for internal and external queries
To support line managers with recruitment administration
To carry out HR inductions for new staff
To administer employee benefits, such as annual leave, private medical insurance, childcare vouchers, pension schemes, car loans, ensuring staff receive their full entitlements.
To monitor absence, recording sickness and reporting on Bradford Factor scores
To support the monthly payroll process
To support other HR functions as needed
They’ll need you to demonstrate that you:
Have general administration experience
Excellent customer service skills
Good IT abilities, including a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good levels of numeracy
Will ideally have experience in a HR / Payroll function
Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check is required.
