Job Details

Your new company
This is an opportunity to join an education provider who are preparing for a very exciting year which will bring a lot of change and new projects for both the HR function and wider organisation.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of HR Operational duties, this will include Recruitment/Talent activities, Updating policies, Employee relations matters and providing general advice and support to 100 employees. You will work with managers and employees to understand the detail of their queries and will provide advice and guidance in line with employment law, company policies and best practise.

In addition to this you will support the HR Director with the implementation of HR strategy and will play a key role in the ongoing development of the HR function.

What you'll need to succeed
A proven track record of being able to professionally and credibly advise managers on matters relating to disciplinary & grievance processes, recruitment and day to day queries is essential as this will be a large part of your role. Ideally you will also be comfortable in conducting investigations, sitting in on interviews and pro-actively spotting potential HR issues. It would be a great advantage if you are CIPD L5 Qualified, but this is not essential if you have the hands on experience required for the role.

What you'll get in return
The organisation offer an incredible benefits package including 38.5 days annual leave, free lunches on site and a very impressive pension contribution too. You will be working as a #2 to the HR Director so another great thing about this role is the opportunity to develop, learn new skills and be mentored by a very experienced senior HR professional who you can learn from.
