Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of services for SME’s, Private Equity backed and an ongoing success story. The business is growing fast and the opportunity ahead is vast. They are now looking for a Head of People, (no.2 to CPO) who can enable the growth and build on the strategy of creating an awesome place to work. The business has a track record of high organic fast paced growth and successful acquisitions. They have over 500 employees, spread across four sites and a field sales team, with ambitions to grow to 2,000 employees. They are currently ranked 7th Best Company to work for, by ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Companies’
Fun and a great place to work, with a high performance and evolving culture, the newly created role of Head of People will be a critical enabler to deliver the next three years business strategy. You will lead the day-to-day HR Operation of the People plan, to attract, retain and develop their people, ensuring tech as a source of competitive advantage as well as being the best and most customer centric sales team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with an ambitious Chief People Officer, developing an employee experience that merits being a Best Company to work for.
This role is a senior generalist HR role accountable for attracting and selecting high quality, diverse candidates, both high volume sales and service roles as well as diverse recruitment across technology, product, and business operations functions. This is an opportunity to utilise technical HR expertise, commercial insight, new ideas and innovation to deliver a strategically focused people plan. You will design, develop and ultimately be responsible for the delivery of their ambitions resourcing strategy. You will focus on all aspects of Talent Acquisition, including Diversity & Inclusion and showcasing their Employer Brand. In this role you will be responsible for not only the strategic delivery, but also operational excellence areas in all areas of Resourcing, OD and People Development to enable the ambitious growth.
To be considered for this highly visible and critical role, you will be a CIPD qualified, Head of People or Senior HR Business Partner, with a proven track record of success and leadership in high growth SME businesses, coupled with experience of scaling company culture, ideally in a Sales or Contact centre environment. Comfortable challenging conventional thinking with adherence to Learning and technology, this is an opportunity to utilise your experience of growing and developing tech and product teams.
