We are recruiting to the role of Group Head of HR Service Desk, which is a newly created role within the HR Service Desk. This role will suit an individual who is excited by the prospect of developing a team of people and a system to provide the best possible service to the customer.
About you
You will have a sound understanding of ER, employment law, people related legislation and operational HR and experience of coaching and developing team members.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of setting up and developing systems that improve the flow of traffic through a transactional HR team, creating a greater experience for the customer and the team members.
The successful applicant will be able to work with colleagues from across the group of institutions, identifying needs and flexing the service to deliver these.
Exciting work you will do
You will have the opportunity to move a service on to the next level, leading a team, researching and developing strategies to ensure continuous improvement of the service through system and process improvements.
The skills and experience you will need to be successful:
You will have a sound understanding of ER, employment law, people related legislation and operational HR.
You will have demonstrable experience of developing HRIS/technology and excellent knowledge of HR Systems.
You will have strong management skills – the ability to coach, motivate, lead and up skill teams of varying ability.
You will also have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage diverse populations including HR, leaders, and employees in a sensitive and professional manner
