Our client is one of the UK’s leading provider of services for SME’s, Private Equity backed and an ongoing success story. The business is growing fast and is now looking to appoint a Learning & Development Manager who can help them stand out from the crowd and further develop a great place to work. This is a Development role with a broad remit and autonomy for an individual who can bring their expertise not just in Sales Training but who is also able to bring a forward thinking, blended Learning & Development approach to the Development agenda. Having been founded in 2007, the business combines smart technology with world class human service, is high growth and fast paced. They have over 450 employees spread across four sites with ambition to grow to approximately 2,000 employees. They are in this year’s ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For’ and the ‘Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100’.
Fun and a great place to work with a high performance and evolving culture, the newly created role of Learning & Development Manager will be a critical enabler to deliver the next three years business strategy, delivering a robust learning strategy which develops their people, ensuring sales and tech capability is grown and developed and high-quality interventions are delivered to ensure ongoing commercial success.
Your remit will be to create and digitalise a Learning & Development function which is regarded as both a strategic and operational partner to the business. Leading the Learning & Development strategic agenda across several business units, you will thrive on the opportunity to deliver multiple, tailored Learning & Development solutions and be able to utilise your creativity and ability to deal with an evolving culture to deliver leading edge Sales and Soft skills programmes. You will further work in collaboration with the business leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver an incorporated approach to Learning & Development, which enhances employee engagement, develops the talent pools and is able to increase overall Sales performance.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Learning & Development professional with a proven track record of establishing and delivering learning through technology of a well-regarded Learning & Development function, during a period of growth. Commercially astute, with the ability to build credibility quickly, the successful incumbent will also be able to demonstrate success in developing and implementing a blended learning approach with enhanced engagement of colleagues during the learning journey. Delivery focused, the ideal individual will have developed a Learning function in contact centre or Sales organisations during a period of change.
