Your new company
We are working in partnership with a well known Manchester based organisation who are going through a significant change and transformation period and are in the market for a specialist OD candidate to join there organisation. You will be responsible for supporting the organisation to achieve its vision and objectives, through its people, by providing a broad range of professional OD services across the whole business,



Your new role
Working with the further HR team and reporting to head of level your role will be to provide a service to the people team and provide expertise in OD space which includes looking at performance management and development of staff.

* Contributing to the development of departmental plans and objectives, providing local expertise and knowledge.
* Planning & organising work to deliver departmental plans and achieve objectives.
* Working effectively and building influential relationships with stakeholders and partners.
* Agreeing clear aims and outcomes with stakeholders and partners.
* Managing the expectations of customers, service users and partners, agreeing only to what can be delivered.
* Working with the team, manage and support organisational change programmes and projects as planned and agreed, ensuring on time delivery of agreed key milestones
* Developing and facilitating targeted interventions to support cultural and organisational change
* Contributing to the design and embedding of effective performance management processes, coaching and supporting colleagues and managers to have 'courageous conversations' and manage performance effectively.
* Working with the L&D Team, support the design of leadership & management development programmes which build capability and are in line with organisational design.
* Proactively managing the implementation and delivery of the workforce engagement strategy
* Proactively supporting the integration of reward and recognition mechanisms.
* Actively business partnering with key managers to influence and support change and transformation.
* Implementing changes needed to meet departmental or team objectives or improvements to service delivery.
* Introducing efficient, value for money processes which maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
* Taking action to address shortfalls in service delivery.
* Ensuring colleagues are clear about any changes and their role in implementation.
* Delivering results, ensuring outcomes meet expected standards and quality.
* Ensuring adherence to internal systems, policies, procedures & legislation.

What you'll need to succeed

* Demonstrable experience of working as an OD Business Partner within an organisational development function, in a complex, unionised environment
* Demonstrable experience of change and transformation programmes and developing and supporting leaders and managers through change processes
* Experience of planning and managing programmes and projects
* Knowledge and experience of current performance management approaches
* Knowledge and experience of workforce engagement strategies.
* Working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application
* Knowledge and experience of developing leadership and management development programmes
