Interim HR Advisor (6 months)

Your new company

You will be joining the HR team of a public sector organisation with circa 400 employees across a range of front line and support services. Currently, the organisation is incredibly busy, which is why the need has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join the organisation for approximately 6 months.

Your new role

This is a really varied position, you will support the HR function across Employee Relations, Payroll, Recruitment and be able to interpret the company policies along with your sound employment law knowledge in order to provide advice and guidance to managers and employees. You will also provide support to the strategic HR Business Partner who may need help with some of the projects they are currently working on including a major culture change project and recruitment too.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will be CIPD Qualified and have had recent and relevant experience within a public sector HR function, be capable of managing ER cases and investigations and interpret HR policy with minimal supervision. Understanding and awareness of unions, resourcing budgets, public sector T's and C's and Diversity & Inclusion are also important.As this is a temporary role, you must be available to start immediately.
