An organised HR Associate to join a leading Technology / Retail business in Southampton (office-based).

Your new company

My client are a leading UK brand and a growing SME based in Southampton, who continue to increase their headcount despite the challenges of the current climate.

Your new role

This is a brand new role to join an experienced HR function due to the support required as the business grows.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a HR Associate reporting into a HR Director, with additional support from 2 colleagues within the team.

Job purpose:
To provide HR assistance and support to the HR team with duties such as recruitment, updating the HR database, processing employees' requests and benefit administration. You will also support ER case work and have the opportunity to gain HR project / systems experience.

Please note that this is an office-based role in Southampton and does not offer remote working, such is the nature of the business. Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday (40 hours).

What you'll need to succeed

This is a great opportunity for a HR Administrator or HR Assistant to join a fantastic business where you can gain experience and take your HR career to the next level. You must be CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum) or working towards and have worked in a HR role / HR function in the past.

You will receive a salary between £20,000-£22,000 (DOE), 23 days holiday + BH's (increasing 1 day per year for 5 years), pension matched to 4% and free parking. The business also have a training budget to support you with future HR qualifications beyond your 1st year of employment.
