Location: Able to work regularly at our Central London Office and travel to sites across South, SW and SE England
Salary: £95,000 pa (possibly more for an exceptional candidate)
Contract: Permanent, full time.

Formed in 2018, Gov Facility Services Ltd, is a non-profit company, owned by the Ministry of Justice. The core business is supplying facilities management services to prisons across the Southern half of the UK. We employ 1400 staff in multi locations, with a Head Office in Central London.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director who has worked at Board level and possesses the leadership maturity to be a fully effective member of the Executive Team. 

The HR Director role will be critical in enabling the organisational change to support a further stage in GFSL’s development. This role will therefore be particularly attractive to candidates who can enhance our leadership and embed a strong performance and safety culture.  The role also requires the ability address strategic people challenges as well as manage short term operational priorities. 

With a proven track record operating at HR Director level, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate success in transforming the HR function where substantial experience of leading delivery through HRIS enabled HR and L&D services is essential.

In addition to being fully CIPD qualified, you will have a minimum of four years senior level HR experience gained within a comparably sized organisation.

Though not essential, candidates will however have an advantage where they have gained significant exposure to the facilities or construction environment (or justice sector) and have worked with in both the private and public sector.
