Your new role
This newly created role will be reporting into the HR Operations Director and support their UK operations. As the Shared Service and Employee Relations Lead Partner, you will be working closely with the People Team and take responsibility for developing and managing the newly created HR shared services and employee relations team to deliver an exceptional HR service to a fats changing growing business. You will further develop employee services and incorporate employee relations, providing first line support to the business via Line Managers and be a point of escalation for more complex ER issues. As part of your role, you will be working closely with HR teams to promote ER strategies, develop managerial capability to drive change and assist the development and implementation of relevant policies and practices. In addition this role will lead on some elements of HR transformation and organisational change.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience of creating, developing and inspiring teams alongside with strong ER and up to date knowledge of employment law. You will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, dealing with a very diverse workforce, ranging from factory operatives through to senior board level directors. The ability to work at both strategic and operational, with a transactional approach will be key to not only identify root causes to issues and identify process improvements but to also influence key stakeholders driving change through engagement. You will also be used to working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment, able to adapt, equally at ease working in full autonomy to deliver on your projects as well as working as part of a team. Energy and resilience to achieve goals will also make a difference.
