The Business School (formerly Cass) in the City of London, is consistently ranked in the top 100 globally. The Careers team delivers a highly rated Professional Development programme to over 2000 MBA and Specialised Masters students.

We are seeking a part time (0.6 fte) MBA Professional Development Manager to join us on a fixed term contract for 1 year. This role will provide high quality careers, employability, coaching and professional development advice and guidance to MBA students; design / deliver professional development programmes (on and offline) incorporating coaching, employability workshops, industry and corporate insight sessions for MBA cohorts.

This role will require the successful candidate to work up to four weekends per year, as well as occasional evenings.

Responsibilities

The appointed MBA Professional Development Manager will design, manage and deliver a Professional Development and Employability skills programme for the Business School MBA students. They will create and deliver webinars, small group sessions and large presentations/workshops on all aspects of careers work and topics related to careers and professional development (on and off-line). They will provide information, advice and guidance to help MBA students make aspirational but realistic choices about employment opportunities. In addition, they will develop maintain, and evaluate resources and programmes for postgraduate students (on and off-line.) They will manage key relationships with supplier organisations and specialist coaches / industry experts, including relevant budget planning.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the design, delivery and management of professional development and careers workshops and programme evaluation. They will have held a Senior Learning & Development or Talent Management role, or an Internal Recruitment role such as Recruitment Manager or equivalent with involvement in recruitment campaigns. They will have experience of CV and application screening for a diverse range of organisations; designing and delivering interviews and assessment centres, as well as knowledge of global recruitment practices and skills to deliver mock interviews to mid-senior career level individuals. They will have an understanding of delivering online Talent Management content is preferable.
