The Human Resources function will play a crucial role in supporting the organisations objectives whilst continuing to implement a people strategy that meets the aims and objectives of the overall business strategy.
As Assistant Director, Human Resources, reporting into the Director of People Services you will be responsible for leading on effective employee relations, learning & development, occupational health & fitness, trade unions engagement and workforce planning. As a highly motivated and credible leader you will be committed to investing in your team, delivering priorities whilst seeking to achieve a further improved HR service that is executed well each and every time.
A proven track record of leading large HR teams in complex environments is essential. You will also demonstrate a desire to achieve meaningful results, using your exceptional influencing skills to manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will have gained your experience working within both the private and public sector, be professionally qualified and confident working in a unionised environment.
