Employee Relations Manager

Your new company
You will work as an ER Manager, for an International Charity, on an interim basis until end of June 2021. The role is home based with flexible working and is Inside IR35 - pay rate £270 per day via PAYE / £300 per day via Umbrella. Interviews will take place week commencing 5th April, to start immediately.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of People and working alongside a Senior People Partner, you will lead on all complex employee relations across the organisation, of 800 employees. Duties include assessing processes and procedures in relation to how ER is managed across the organisation, advising and leading on actions needed following rulings, act as point of escalation for all complex ER cases, as escalated by People Partner team and manage a complex ER caseload of disciplinaries, grievances and absence, up to Tribunal level.
You will also advise and support very process driven Managers, liaise with internal and external Legal team and work with external mediation partner.

What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will ideally be CIPD qualified, have worked as an ER Lead across a Public Sector organisation, with an understanding of mediation. You must be able to show you have been directly responsible for managing a high volume ER caseload.
