Advert Director of HR

 

Location                            Multi Academy Trust for 21 schools based across Cambridgeshire/Suffolk

Working                            Some flexibility to work on less than full time basis by mutual agreement.  

Salary                                £60-£65,000 full time equivalent salary plus travel allowances and private health insurance benefits

 

Pension                             Local Government Pension Scheme.

 

Due to the retirement of the current post holder the Active Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, resilient and proactive Director of Human Resources for our multi academy Trust of 21 schools across the East of England.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned HR practitioner with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the HR function as it applies in the education sector. As part of the Executive Leadership Team of this well-established Trust, and reporting directly to the CEO, you will be accountable for the design and development of our workforce strategies. As our lead HR professional you will work in close liaison with the Trusts HR service providers for remuneration and personnel casework services whilst monitoring the quality and delivery of their services to ensure schools across the Trust receive timely accurate and thorough HR advice and guidance.

You will have wide-ranging experience of dealing with challenging situation where you have demonstrated sound judgement and policy making skills. You will be an expert HR adviser in education sector provision and experienced in working with the wide range of agencies involved in the delivery of the people management functions including recruitment services, government bodies, local authority partners, legal advisers and trade unions.
