This role will report into the Head of HR, working alongside a highly experienced and established HR Management Team. Based in Swansea, there will be a requirement for travel to various sites across South and West Wales. Your new role
Employee Relations;Partner with SMT and other stakeholders to help create a positive workplace climate in which high standards of conduct and performance are evidenced. Ensure regular dialogue with employees and representatives and develop an effective and innovative approach to resolving grievance and disciplinary cases. Health & Wellbeing / Maximising Attendance; Contribute tactically to the Health & Wellbeing programme and drive the agreed corporate Health & Wellbeing goals in the organisation. Ensure all processes are adhered to so that excellent standards of attendance and workplace well-being are maintained. Recruitment & Selection; Work proactively with managerial colleagues to plan and anticipate recruitment demands. Contribute to a distinctive and creative recruitment process and provide expertise in recruitment and selection so that client managers are supported with timely and effective solutions and the organisation is resourced with capable and engaged people.People Planning & Organisational Efficiency. Develop a clear and robust people plan for the line functions in partnership with line managers. Create a priority actions plan to drive improvements and implement planned OD tools and programmes. Ensure all "action plans for success", role and training profiles are developed and maintained.Special Projects. Contribute constantly and actively to improving the effectiveness of HR delivery, undertaking specific projects to improve results in all key result areas and additional relevant activities as agreed with the Head of HR and HR Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HRBP will provide an influential and credible partnering role for key operational managers in an allocated business area, delivering an efficient, engaging and productive people management culture. You will be confident in leading complex HR issues (disciplinary cases, grievances, long term absences) and naturally have high expectations about your standards of work of and those of your colleagues.You will be a strong generalist in HR Best practice and ensure key result areas of maximising attendance, recruitment & selection and employee relations are effectively delivered.
