Job Details
A Strategic Head of Resourcing vacancy has arisen and a key part of the role will be to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Maintaining an awareness of the equality and diversity protocol/policy and working to create and maintain a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where all people are treated with dignity and their identity and culture are valued and respected. The recruitment team are now ready to continue to improve their approach and look to further increase the organisation’s ability to recruit and retain the best possible employees in new and innovative ways. You will be crucial to lead these improvements and provide leadership and support to the team of six. Lead on executive and senior level recruitment which will also be a part of the role and will require an experienced recruiter with a track record of recruiting to executive appointments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience of managing and developing a resourcing function within a complex organisation.
- Experience of executive/senior level recruitment.
- Ability to develop and build long-term relationships with hiring managers at all levels
- Experience and knowledge of working in a local authority or public sector organisation is desirable.
