Based at our Stephenson College Campus, with regular travel to our Brooksby and Melton campuses
The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.
This is an exciting time to join the SMB Group in the newly created role of Head of Human Resources, supporting the Human Resources Team on its journey of transformation, ensuring the provision of high quality services which add value to the business.
You will have a real opportunity to influence the Group’s HR strategy, supporting the Vice Principal Human Resources and Organisational Development, in its implementation. You will also be able to use your previous experience to ensure the people agenda is aligned to business objectives, supporting the College to attract, develop, retain and engage a talented and inclusive workforce.
Your knowledge of up to date employment law and HR best practice, along with experience in managing a diverse range of employee relations issues, will be key in supporting development of the HR team and wider College group.
