HR Advisor

Location: Wimbledon, London, with an element of working from home and occasional working from our other easy to access locations in South London. 

Salary: £33,949

12 months Fixed Term Contract

Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) we will consider reduced hours or other flexible working arrangements

Our client works in the London Boroughs of Bromley, Merton, Croydon, Lambeth, and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. They are the third largest provider of homelessness accommodation in London and work with people of all ages, providing housing, support and guidance to empower them towards independent living and to building a better life.

 

They’re looking for an HR Advisor to join their team and work closely with the HR Manager as an integral part of our small People & Culture Team. They need someone who can help them to deliver high quality, comprehensive, people focused HR services to over 200 colleagues.

 

They are a flexible, friendly and supportive team who work hard to constantly improve the way they work. Their days and weeks are busy but there is a lot of support and a chance for you to develop your skills in the HR profession in an organisation who put people first.

 

In this role you will:

Be a key business partner who provides professional advice and customer focused services to managers and colleagues across the organisation

 

Accurately and efficiently process the monthly payroll in conjunction with the finance team

 

Take the lead in maintaining and developing the HR/Payroll system and records including coaching colleagues across the organisation, ensuring that managers can effectively manage their teams and easily access quality data

 

Be the HR workstream lead on improvement projects whilst at the same time ensuring the HR basics are delivered to a high standard at all times

 

You will need to be:

At Associate membership level with the CIPD with a good generalist HR background

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Word and Excel to intermediate/advanced level

 

Experienced in working with HR software including report writing and system development

 

Able to deliver HR services in a personalised way with a customer first mindset
