Interim Chief of People

We have a unique opportunity for transformation Interim Chief of People for an initial 6 months fixed term.

We are actively seeking a board level experienced Chief of People for a interim 6 months fixed term contract to lead transformational change.

This role is an opportunity to work strategically with the board and leadership to develop a transformational programme for cultural change.

The role will focus on four core areas:
-Culture and Employee Engagement
-Operational and Transformational HR Services and Activities
-Organisational and Leadership Development
-Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

The interim CPO will have particular responsibility for the following activities during the interim period:


* Development and delivery of the People Plan;-
* Culture and cultural development;
* Strengthening the approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in People related matters;
* HR elements of the HR and Finance Transformation Project, including the implementation of the new system and accompanying process change
* Review of the organisational structure and skills within the HR Department against the priorities;
* and-Overseeing our approach to pay and reward.

Candidates
Were seeking an experienced HR Director/Chief of People with backgrounds of leading large HR departments and transformational cultural change.

* Track record of developing and implementing innovative people management strategies
* Demonstrable commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and track record of tangible improvements
* Highly credible and able to advise/influence the CEO/Board level

Preferably we are seeking applicants with previous Higher Education experiences and leadership of large scale organisations within the public sector or similar.
