Associate Director, People Strategy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director, People Strategy to champion, develop and deliver leading edge strategic HR projects which will enable the achievement of the University’s strategic aims. The role will focus on organisational design, EDI, talent & workforce planning, leadership development, performance, and engagement and communication. In delivering these key workstreams, you will ensure the University is positioned strongly within the Higher Education sector.

This is a key role which reports directly to the Director of Human Resource and Organisational Development. The post holder will also work closely with the Associate Director, HR Operations in developing the HR policy framework to ensure that the University’s procedures are customer friendly and focus on delivering a great workplace for our colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a background in initiating and delivering HR projects. You will be excited by innovation and change, be able to respond and adapt to a quickly changing environment and will have wide-ranging experience of providing leadership in a complex environment. Your career to date will have seen you take responsibility for building strong relationships across organisational boundaries demonstrating a high degree of resilience together with proven communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
