HR Assistant, Permanent Role, Growing Company + Progression

Your new company

You will be working for a growing educational organisation in Croydon.

They put progression at the forefront of what they do. Regular training is imbedded into the role, as well as there being additional support/advice offered to any colleagues that need it.

Your new role

You will be working as a Permanent HR Assistant on a full-time basis.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support and be the first point of contact for all HR colleagues within the establishment regarding all HR matters.

Some duties include:
Producing and updating all personnel files for Head Office Staff.
Liaising with the relevant staff members regarding start and end dates.
Issuing letters to employees; updating their contracts, resignations, extending contracts etc.
Updating and maintaining the employee absence log and staff handbook.
Supporting monthly payroll as and when necessary.
Coordinating new starter induction sessions with the HR Officer.
Being the first point of contact for all HR related queries.
Assisting with all administration for the recruitment process; pre-employment checks, arranging interviews, checking the right to work documentation.
Completing ad hoc tasks as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a HR Assistant role.

Experience of working for an educational organisation will be a bonus but is not required.

Team working skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

What you'll get in return

Salary range is between £22,000 - £26,000 + Benefits.
