We are looking for a Head of Organisational Development and Talent to lead a whole lifecycle approach to talent management, ensuring we have the skills for now and the future and a workforce representative of the communities that we serve. You will be creative with a fresh thinking approach and the ability to challenge and innovate. The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic and inspirational leader an exceptional collaborator, capable of bringing together, inspiring and enabling diverse teams and partners to deliver. You will be resilient; comfortable with scrutiny, change, complexity and uncertainty and will be able to navigate and manage different stakeholder needs and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Ultimately, you will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents, you will role model our values and will be an ambassador for the Council.  #BeTheDifference.

Interviews expected to take place week commencing 14 June 2021.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.

Please note that in accordance with the Council’s policy, employees who are in a formal redeployment situation will be considered in the first instance for all vacancies.
