The mission of the King Edward’s Foundation is simple: to make Birmingham the best place to be educated in the UK. Across our group of schools, the Foundation educates over 10,000 students and employs over 1,600 dedicated staff in a range of roles.

We now seek an Organisational Development professional to actively contribute to the successful delivery of the HR Strategy and drive forward various workstreams relating to organisational development.  The role will focus on ensuring the Foundation attracts and builds the right skills, capacity, flexibility, and diversity across its workforce to meet emerging organisational needs and offer a unique employee experience.

This new role will have a varied portfolio of responsibility encompassing resourcing, talent attraction and development, ED&I, workforce planning and data insight.  The role will be accountable for building on existing good practice and implementing new end-to-end frameworks, initiatives, and strategies across the organisation.

With a hands-on approach and drawing on your senior HR/OD experience, you will work closely with others across a multi-stakeholder setting, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration, quality, and inclusivity.  Working to embed the ambitious Foundation Strategy, you will help drive a culture of high performance and learning throughout the employee lifecycle.  You will demonstrate a successful track record of implementing change and improvement in a large organisation, ideally in a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) or other educational setting.
