EMR has some exciting change projects in the pipeline, and as such, we have a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our friendly HR team in the role of HR Change Manager.  

We are looking for someone to provide specialist expertise to our project leads and sponsors, in the people aspects of business change projects. Ensuring that projects meets their objectives, on time and on budget, by increasing employee adoption and usage. 

As the HR Change Manager you will:-

  • Advise and lead on any Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) implications for EMR. 
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of employee, management and union communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • To provide HR business partner support to the Transition & Projects Directorate as required. 

To be great in this role you should have a strong understanding of Change Management, with demonstrable ability to drive meaningful change.  Specific expertise will be focused on job roles, organisation structures, union relations and terms and conditions of employment.

You should also fulfil the following criteria:-

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process with demonstrable ability to equip, prepare and support colleagues through change.
  • Excellent demonstrable knowledge of TUPE process with experience of large scale and complex TUPE processes.
  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (MCIPD), or equivalent degree qualification
  • Articulate communication skills, with the ability to coach, influence and negotiate at all levels whilst building long-term relationships and maintain external partnerships and collaboration.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
