An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Human Resources (HR) at Bletchley Park. Reporting to the Director of Support Services, you will be an experienced and successful HR professional able to lead on the delivery of our People Strategy, as well as managing the day-to-day requirements of the HR function.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and hardworking HR professional who enjoys the challenge of delivering both strategic and operational responsibilities. Responsible for leading and managing the Trust’s Human Resources functions, you will deliver an employee focussed approach where HR processes support business needs and add value.    

You will have responsibility for all HR and payroll services and nurture employee and volunteer relations, playing a vital role in developing and promoting best practice in key areas such as recruitment, HR policy/procedure, onboarding, people development, employee and volunteer welfare, internal communications and performance management.

You will be a CIPD-qualified generalist with strong influencing skills and extensive ‘hands on’ employee relations experience.  We are after someone with a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice who can demonstrate how they can apply this is in a practical and proactive manner.

This is a part-time role of 25 hours per week, ideally over 4 or 5 days.  The salary is between £24,667 and £27,333 (based on £37-£41k FTE) dependent on experience and based at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes. Benefits include 25 days leave, including statutory holidays (based on 38 days FTE), company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
