About Nacro

We are a national social justice charity with more than 50 years’ experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime.

With a staff of 800 working from some 50 locations, we help support, house, educate, advise and speak out for more than 38,000 disadvantaged young people and adults - and you could now help us make an even bigger impact going forward.

This is an exciting time to join Nacro as we progress with renewal and change to transform the way we work, enhancing inclusion, diversity and ensuring a greater voice for our service users.

About the Role

The HR team is playing a pivotal role with the leadership group partnering with them to drive culture change and deliver the business strategy. We continue to succeed in securing large scale services contracts where we need to provide due diligence and mobilisation for TUPE’d staff.

We are shaping and delivering people-based change projects that underpin our strategy, drive improvement, maximise engagement and ensure effective consultation with staff groups and trade union representatives.

We have demonstrated very high resilience during Covid and are now working through the long term demands for agile working across a wide range of professionals delivering advocacy, housing and education support to service users as well as all support teams in Finance, IT etc

The Person

We are looking for candidates with a demonstrable track record as a trusted and listening HR Partner who are passionate about achieving business outcomes through a forward-thinking approach to HR.

You will have gained at least 5 years broad based HR experience with organisations who deliver services in charity, public or commercial settings.

Used to working in high growth and complex environments, you will be able to demonstrate expertise in building trusted relationships advising and then shaping how HR can provide practical solutions to deliver organisational change and improve service performance.

Specific experience with TUPE, employee relations and in leading on engagement and or inclusion will be an advantage.

We offer

A competitive salary, flexibility to work from home base and the chance to play a central role in shaping our way of working and our culture.
