HR & Talent Partner

A very special HR & Talent Partner role just landed in Cheltenham…

Location – Cheltenham & home- based (2-3 days per week)

Salary – Circa £60-65k – depending upon experience

Contract type – fixed term contract, then likely to be permanent

Duration – 12 months initially

Start – ASAP but will wait for the right person

HR is currently run in a very decentralised way globally and the HR Leader (who is a seriously good egg) is looking to develop the HR function from being one that is reactive to one that is truly proactive. What will you be doing?

Your immediate focus will be on the following areas:

  • Leadership development
  • Succession planning
  • Org design and development
  • Employee enagagement
  • Helping people to develop through the organisation

Who are we looking for?

We are not looking for a ‘Steady Eddy’. We want to find genuinely passionate individuals that have not yet hit their peak. You will be someone that is on a definite upward trajectory in their career with huge desire to develop and push on in a global business. They are not hung up on whether you have delivered some of the work that needs doing, they are looking for the right aptitude and approach that will ensure you pick things up quickly. It is absolutely essential that you are able to demonstrate a track record of delivery and credibility with senior stakeholders.

You will be someone who is motivated, innovative and challenging and can substantiate the achievements listed on their CV. Our client needs someone that is really commercial and able to deal with a very high level of ambiguity. This is a business that faces postive change and you need to be comfortable going to work somewhere where you will not have all the answers available to you straight away.

You will be able to demonstrate a clear return on investment and value for initiatives that you have both led and implemented. We don’t just want an implementer, we are after someone that seeks continual engagement with stakeholders and has the ability to add value through creative yet practical talent solutions.

You should be someone with a real intent of purpose. Someone who can take a vision and really make it happen through great ideas and a desire to see things through to successful completion.

You may have worked in a talent management or HR business partnering role. We would like to see a genuine passion for talent and OD in whatever you have done.

We will also be looking for evidence that you can operate successfully in a large, complex international business.
