Join the Organisational and Staff Development Team at an exciting time and help develop our staff to provide an exceptional education for our students. As the Learning and Development Manager you will work as part of the Organisational & Staff Development Team to actively manage and coordinate the Staff Development Programme. You will coordinate delivery of internal and external programmes as well as delivering some aspects yourself. You will have a proven track record in the management, design, development and delivery of successful learning and development solutions and able to implement innovative and blended learning approaches. Therefore, an overall knowledge of the University strategy will be key.

Some of the duties will include acting as the key contact for questions and queries regarding training and development plans. This will involve you working closely with various managers across the organisation and gaining a full understanding of their training requirements. You will also be required to build close relationships with external training providers and act as a facilitator to coordinate and promote their learning and development interventions across the University.

This role requires someone with excellent, planning and communication skills and who is keen to assist people with their learning and development. Experience in coordinating e-learning courses/programmes is desirable.
Ideally with a membership of the CIPD or other relevant professional body, we are keen to hear from applicants who have an understanding of continuous professional development within a setting of a busy and active organisation and staff development team.
