About the Role

As the site-based HR Manager, you will have a great opportunity to play a significant part in the college and make a difference in the lives of staff and learners every day. Reporting to the Principal, as part of the college management team, you will lead the HR function and provide a high quality, business-focused, flexible, and operational HR service across the College. It will be your job to support and develop all college leaders in their people management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and employee relations. You will be expected to provide the necessary management information to enable effective tracking and monitoring so that managers and leaders can make informed decisions. 

About you

You will be a qualified HR practitioner, with a good operational background, and you’ll be keen to apply your knowledge and skills to make a great difference to the lives of the staff and learners at the college. 

You will be highly organised, and a good problem solver, and you will be competent in dealing with all the aspects of human resources management. A confident communicator, you will also have good organisation skills with the ability to coordinate and plan your workload and that of others in the team. You will demonstrate that you understand and respect the importance of confidentiality and data protection and you will have excellent report writing skills, appropriate to meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders. You will be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines as required.

About the College
