Are you ready for a new challenge?  Would you like to join a successful, dynamic, forward-thinking business? Do you have great HR experience that will enable you to be a valuable People Co-ordinator supporting the People Business Partner within our growing Rail England or Story Scotland business?

We have 2 great opportunities for someone to join us in these newly created roles, which are now available due to business-wide expansion in our highly successful, family-owned civil engineering business with over 700 people and exciting plans to increase the size of our team further this year.

These are key roles working closely with all members of the People Team and interacting with our people across all areas of the business. You will focus primarily on recruitment, supporting the People Business Partner in sourcing new talent into the business along with developing existing colleagues to ensure we have the right people in the right places.

The People Co-ordinator will also provide HR services to the division including; recruitment, HR administration, HR advisory services, supporting line managers, liaising with L&D, Payroll, Occupational Health and Training.

Experience working in HR, excellent communication and IT skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and analytical skills are essential along with a professional and confidential approach.  An HR qualification is desirable or a willingness to study towards one.

We are looking for two people to join our People Team. One will be based in the Chorley area and one will be based in the Blantyre area with travel to regional sites occasionally when required.

The role attracts a competitive salary with opportunities to progress and develop. We offer an agile working policy which allows a mixture of home and office working, and flexible working arrangements are available.

These vacancies close on Friday 18th June and successful applicants will be invited to attend an interview shortly after closing date. The process will include a 2-stage interview in total.

If you think this sounds like the role for you, apply and start your Story journey.
