We are looking to recruit into the HMPPS HR Business Partnering team where you will lead a team and support the Divisional Director to deliver effective and forward-looking challenge, acting as a senior advisor and building relationships of trust amongst our Senior Civil Servants to ensure they deliver against their business objectives.
You will support our Senior Leadership Team in the delivery of key workstreams in relation to an ambitious People Agenda, you will bring with you a passion for people and the drive and experience to lead a team of professionals in across a range of specialist, generalist and operational areas.
You will drive the high-quality interventions from the People Group into HMPPS. Supporting the business in meeting its strategic objectives and ensure the Ministry delivers its wide range of services in both operational and corporate services contexts.
Providing visible leadership, challenge and influence across the function and the department at a senior level, you will utilise your skills as a leader to deliver a coaching style of management, to draw out the best of your team and contribute to the ongoing professional development of the function.
You will be an active member of a Grade 6 leadership team who will both drive the agenda and direct the delivery of your team’s objectives.
