2 Perm HR Advisor, 37.5hpw £32,000pa / 30hpw £25,500pa. Home-based role, with some travel.

Your new company
A Public Sector company in Somerset (1000 employees) are looking for two HR Advisors to join a hardworking and supportive HR team and company. One role is 37 .5hpw £32,000pa and one role is 30hpw £25,500pa. Home-based role, some travel required to different sites adhoc across Somerset.


Your new role
You will provide expert support and advice to operational management and be the initial point of contact for all operational HR related matters. You will proactively assist with the development and achievement of the teams and the organisational outcomes. You will provide first level advice and guidance on HR Policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues with the guidance of the HR Business partner as required. You will provide HR case management support to managers relating to discipline, grievance, absence and performance management. You will provide advice on HR policies and processes, employment law and employee relation issues and to support managers in making decisions that are based on the company's values, policies, and practices.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Generalist with at experience of managing ER cases (covering disciplinaries, grievances and absence management). You will have experience supporting, developing, and coaching managers on all people issues. It is beneficial if you have worked in large fast paced HR environments. You will need to be able to hit the ground running, be pro-active and a friendly HR professional. You will need experience of coaching and supporting managers at all levels. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, administration and communication skills. You will need a CIPD qualification (level TBC).
