This is a fantastic role for an Learning & Development professional looking for a better work life balance, this role will be home based with travel into the office for key meetings once restrictions have lifted.

Your new role
You will contribute to the building of a future L&D Strategy in line with the global HR and overall Business Strategy. Partner with HR Business Partners and various business stakeholders to conduct training-needs analyses as needed to understand the requirement for L&D provision across the business. You will lead the blended learning programmes and solutions in line with business needs and strategic goals. You will manage and grow the approved training provider network to enable the delivery of cost effective and high-quality training as needed. This includes day-to-day contract management of external training providers and vendors. You will lead on specific L&D projects and any L&D input needed on specific HR projects to roll out current initiatives in line with the business's strategic goals. Establish, manage, monitor and control the L&D budget to ensure spend is on target and breakeven or better is achieved at financial year end. You will organise and manage the Graduate and Apprenticeship programme. You will also manage and support the enhanced L&D provision for high potential employees, mentoring, reverse mentoring and coaching programmes. You will partner with the HR team to promote and complete PDPs after 12 and 6 month performance reviews. As required, produce accurate data management and reporting on L&D activities, including monitoring and analysis of data within the learning management system to ensure accurate reporting to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you must have proven experience managing an L&D function within a business or organisation. You must be competent in managing external vendors and budgets. If you have experience using Cornerstone this would be very advantageous.
