Workforce Development Business Partner (OD and L&D) - South Yorkshire - upto £44500 DOE plus bens and flexible/hybrid working

Your new company
A public sector organisation in South Yorkshire are looking to recruit this new role of Workforce Development Business Partner (OD and L&D)

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR & OD your role will be to ensure the organisations workforce development is guided by strategies that reflect all the key drivers (national, regional and local) and are aligned to the organisations priority areas.
You will lead and manage the workforce development outcomes and delivering a high quality training and development offering for the organisations for staff.
Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and partners, both internally and externally, to ensure workforce development is delivering responsively to ensure positive outcomes for the community and individuals
You will also, from time to time lead specific projects identified within the organisations Senior Leadership Team.

You will have responsibility for:
All workforce development strategies and plans
Leadership and management training
Accredited vocational qualification management
L&D 360 degree responsibility
Focus on social work departmental development
Budgetary responsibility.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a solid background and understanding in public sector workforce development / OD / L&D - ideally from the public or not-for-profit arena, or a regulated industry.
A social care background (or an understanding of) is particularly of interest.
Experience in managing a range of vocational accredited qualifications
Degree qualified in either L&D/OD management or social care (with a OD/L&D experience)
CIPD qualification preferable
Ability to travel for networking/meetings etc, locally and nationally (nationally would be rare)

What you'll get in return

37 hour working week
