We are one of the world’s leading global charities for disabled people and have been for over 70 years. With a passion for learning you will lead the delivery of our learning and development activity across England - not just the statutory and core learning that is a requirement in social care settings, but that is so much more - learning that enables a culture where our staff can make a real difference to the lives of the people they support and where they can develop their skills so that they are motivated to stay and develop their careers with us.

Leading a team of 8 Learning & Development Advisors, you will lead and motivate your team to deliver best in class training, using a range of learning approaches and technologies.

CIPD qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience that maps at chartered membership level, you will be adept at evaluating learning and at developing training plans and programmes.  With knowledge of Adult Learning theories, you will be passionate about using a range of learning approaches and technologies that best suit those being trained.  You will also have experience of line management, and ideally, experience of working in the health and social care sector.

We believe that a fair and inclusive world for everyone is possible; there is possibility with disability. We make a difference and so will you.

What we Offer

  • A generous employer contribution to a company pension scheme with additional life cover
  • Substantial annual leave, with the option to buy or sell leave
  • Access to a cash health plan at favourable rates
  • A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme
