An HR Assistant job in Guildford for a leading Property and Facilities organisation starting immediately.

Your new company
A leading Property and Facilities Partnership with offices in Guildford. An HR Assistant is required on a temp to perm basis, starting immediately.


Your new role
Supporting a business of almost 1000 employees you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of an accurate, efficient and empathetic HR service. Supporting the wider HR team, you will take ownership of lifecycle events such as offer letters, contract drafts and right to work checks. You will maintain probation trackers and the HR database to an accurate level.

Duties include:

* Be the first point of contact for employees and managers to deal with queries from employees, managers, prospective employees and third parties.
* Provide administrative support to the HR team relating to a range of day to day HR issues.
* Draft offers of employment and co-ordinate all new joiner documentation.
* Update and maintain the HR database, including inputting new joiner information and updating information upon promotion, salary review and changes to T&C's.
* Complete pre-employment screening for all new joiners; obtaining references and proof of right to work documentation.
* Ensure that probationary periods are monitored and end of probation forms are completed at the appropriate time.
* Assist with administration relating to maternity/adoption/paternity leave.
* Maintain the HR pages on the website/internal portal as required.
* Assist with the transfer of staff in to and out of the business under TUPE.
* Coordinate the HR induction for staff; arrange group HR induction calls and deliver the HR induction via conference call.
* Assist in the production of documentation including reports, agendas and presentations to a high standard.
* Monitor and review annual leave entitlement/sickness.
* Assist with wider HR projects and initiatives.


What you'll need to succeed
You must be immediately available with demonstrable experience working in a partnership environment. You will show a high accuracy level in all tasks completed and be an approachable and empathetic point of contact.
