HR Manager overseeing compliance across the multi-site orgainsation

Your new company
I am delighted to be working with a newly registered client of mine; with multi sites located across the Middlesbrough region. Within this role as the HR Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the organisations HR, Payroll and Compliance.

This position is a technical and leadership position supporting multiple business functions found in the organisation with two direct reports working alongside you. You will have a direct impact on defining the strategic aims which will shape the future of the organisation and leading on any project work reporting into the board.

Your new role
Within your new role you will be responsible for all strategic and operational aspects leading from the front. Your responsibilities will include the following;


* Provide leadership to the board level on the organisations HR and workforce strategy in order to optimise the performance and strategic position
* Strengthen strategic competence and direction across the organisation to improve operational effectiveness;
* Lead on risk management and co-ordinate the strategic risk
* To provide the organisation with legal advice in relation to all Employment law obligations.
* To be responsible for the Governance administrative support delivered to the organisation
* HR and Payroll Strategic decision making
* To lead on the HR/Payroll portal implementation project to ensure the full embedding and further development of new software
* Ownership of the Payroll
* Provide strategic HR support both in person and remotely.
* Develop and lead on Talent Management and Succession Planning frameworks.
* To be responsible for the management of TUPE and Employee Resourcing processes.
* Development of pay and reward packages and other mechanisms.
* Responsibility of HR and Payroll software systems.
* Production of appropriate HR Trust policies.
* Develop a relationship with recognised Trade Union representatives
* Lead on the management of sickness absence
* Lead on Safer Recruitment
* Manage all generalist HR issues; All recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, capability and redundancy issues and performance management

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful applicant you will need to demonstrate the below;


* Full CIPD qualification or a HR Degree
* Ability to drive or otherwise travel to multi sites in the region
* Experience of successfully supporting and managing change and improvement
* Experience managing complex HR caseload
* Experience in an educational setting (desirable)
